The vitality of our Christian faith is stimulated by
the outward reminders which we see within the confines of our church -
it's Christian symbols. Every aspect of the Church and its
furnishings has a religious and spiritual message for those who understand
it's language. Our Ecclesiastical Church Year is divided into a
number of Seasons, Festivals and Days, each symbolized by a specific
color. The colors of the Paraments used during our services and
their symbolic importance are as follows:

Godhead, light, joy, peace, purity, heaven.
Used at: Christmas, Easter, Ascension Day, Epiphany,
Trinity. |

The Holy Ghost, zeal, fire, martyrdom.
Used at: Pentecost, Reformation, Thanksgiving, and
Saints' Days. |

Penitence.

Used at: Advent |

Meaning:
Growth in the Christian life.
Used at: The Sundays after Trinity. |

Deep mourning.
Used at: Good Friday. |
