September 2002 Sunday, September 22 - 12:30 Families of First English Lutheran Church with children ages infant through grade six were treated to a pizza party at the Richland Carrousel Park immediately following the 11:00 a.m. worship service on Sunday, September 22. Free pizza and pop was served from 12:30 - 1:30 and free carrousel rides were from 12:30 - 2:30. This event was sponsored by Aid Association for Lutheran Branch#7047. Click here for pictures.

Tuesday, December 4 Member Allison Molyet, along with several local dancers, appeared in the Columbus Dance Theatre production of Match Girl at the Renaissance Theatre on December 4, 2001. This ballet is based on the Hans Christian Andersen story of "The Little Match Girl".

Journey To Bethlehem Sunday, December 2 - 5:00 P.M. (Walking Tour) Our annual Journey To Bethlehem production was presented by the members of First English Lutheran Church including our talented youth actors. Three performances were held and the response and your comments were wonderful! Mark your calendars for the 2002 Journey to Bethlehem as you won't want to miss this joyous seasonal event.
Monday, October 29 - 7:15 p.m. Music, Skits, Magic, Comedy Spots, Puppets and more! Tim Tahtinen, Stillwater, MD,
presented this interactive 1 hour and 15 minute program for youth and teens, and
especially targeted parents to fulfill their baptismal promises. Near the end of the program, the
kids went out to make a home altar craft while Time talked to the parents about the
importance of faith happening at home. The night closed with a blessing
service for all. It was fun and faith for the whole
family!

July 30 - August 3 Leadership Training - Faith Inkubators Renaissance Festival Pastor Larson took a
group of our High School youth to participate in the Renaissance Youth
Leadership Festival sponsored by Faith Inkubators of Stillwater, MN. The
youth learned valuable leadership skills to bring back to their home
congregations.
